Why is this mandatory?
From November 1 to March 31, the Mountain Law requires winter equipment in the municipalities concerned across 34 departments (the Alps, Pyrenees, Massif Central, Jura, Vosges, and Corsica), identified by B58/B59 signs. The requirement applies even if it is not snowing.
To comply, you have two options: fit 4 3PMSF winter tires, or simply keep a pair of snow socks in your trunk, ready to equip 2 driven wheels.

Shape-memory technology
The tread of the Musher tire cover is a patented textile alloy made of high-tenacity shape-memory fibers. Its tear-resistant composition and “caterpillar” knitting provide exceptional strength. This technology allows us to equip all vehicles with 13- to 22-inch tires without exception.
3D knitting
The Musher snow sock is designed around a seamless, shape-memory 3D knit. This durable intermediate mesh connects the tread and side border so that the sock fits perfectly against the tire’s sidewall.
Smart envelope
The fluorescent side border made of lined elastane fiber automatically centers the tire covers on the tires, creating a smart cover that is easy to install and secured to the tire.
